From 25% to 100% recycled plastic

We are continually working to increase the amount of recycled, or ‘PCW’ (post-consumer waste), plastic in our cans and pails. Today, we are one of only a few companies to offer plastic cans made of more than 25% recycled material, and we are the only company manufacturing cans with up to 100% PCW.

Rapid increase expected

For our PCW containers, we source plastic from producers who recycle and grade the material before we ‘remake it’ into paintainers or pails. We believe this development has great potential and significance for the environment and we expect to substantially increase the percentage of PCW in our products over the next few years. Metal is already recycled to a great extent, and we now want plastic to go the same way and become an equally ‘reuseful’ material.
